The issue seems to be with using XFS filesystem for the home partition.
Ok, A issue with X3 reunion put me on track for this problem. I would not recomend making your /home folder XFS if you plan to do some steam gaming, you migth be affected by this for some 32bit games. but i'f anyone is intrested i have found that Civ 5, Civ: BE and all three X3 games are affacted. Hovewer, workshop stuff is still downloaded to a folder on my /home partition wich is still XFS- and therfor the game crashes with certain steam games and workshop content wich hits that particular bug. voila the game works, did the same for Civ 5 and Civ BE, voila also works.

So i made a new folder under /usr/share/games/ and named it Steam.
